Sunridge
Wrangler, our Appaloosa stallion who is also known as "Obe", was purchased
as a long yearling from the Double G Ranch in Fulshear, Texas.
Obe's
sire and noted Double G Ranch Appaloosa stallion, Mighty Mel GG, is
sired by Mighty
Bright Again and out the the good Mighty Bright daughter, Mighty Gay
GG. Obe's dam, Skips Crickett (AQHA), is a granddaughter of Skipper's
King, an outstanding halter and broodmare sire and considered to be
Skipper W's greatest son. Also on his dam's side are such Wiescamp bred
AQHA legends as Spanish Nick, Skipper W's paternal half brother, and
Spot Cash by Skipper W. The great Three Bars (TB) is included both on
top and bottom of Obe's pedigree. Obe is a rich copper dun with both
eyes partially blue. Standing
a solid 14.2 hands high, you'll agree he's built like a rock with an
enormous hip and chest and has
that famous Bright Eyes Brother face.
